Nagehan Tokdoğan

Nagehan Tokdoğan received her PhD in 2018 from Hacettepe Univer-sity, Faculty of Communication in Ankara, Turkey. She worked as a post-doctoral fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development, Center for the History of Emotions between 2020–2024. At present, she is an independent researcher based in Berlin, Germany. Her main subjects of interest are political sociology of emotions, migration and emotions, Turkish society and politics, nationalism, conservatism, right-wing extremism and authoritarianism.
